Epek Team and Volunteers Helping Afghans in Need
This gallery is to show how your support is sharing Epek love by providing lifesaving provisions and reassuring these dear people they not forgotten and not alone. We are doing all we can in difficult circumstances to ease suffering and share hope.
The current crisis in Afghanistan has driven thousands of Afghans from their homes. They are living in makeshift tent camps for Internally Displaced People (IDPs). Epek staff and volunteers are preparing food and delivering to hundreds of people staying in five IDP camps.
We humbly thank each and every person and partner that is making this possible through vital financial support and prayers. We will continue to identify needs and address them to the best of our ability. We are so grateful and blessed to be in a position to help.
Epek provides food and water for hundreds of Afghans in IDP camps in Afghanistan, as well as refugees in neighboring countries. Our team prepares, packages, and delivers food each day. We also provided warm blankets—winter is here and the situation for many is dangerous without proper heat and clothing.
Epek provides medical care to many Afghans. The country’s healthcare system is in collapse and there is a shortage of medical professionals.
These are the unimaginable circumstances in which many Afghan IDPs find themselves today.
Our hearts hurt for them.
