Devastating 5.9-Magnitude Earthquake hits Eastern Afghanistan
More than 1000 have lost their lives, 1500 or more are injured, and many still missing in one of the most devastating earthquakes to hit Afghanistan in years. The earthquake struck last night as people were in their homes sleeping. One family lost 17 members when their dwelling collapsed, only one child survived.
